We can call a ceilidh with a difference. Self written jigs and reels with a brass / wind line up.

Storytellers Streetband started performing alongside storyteller Chris Bostock in Covid lockdown in outdoor locations. They soon became the resident band on Saturday mornings at Jesmond Food Market, Newcastle upon Tyne. Then followed performances in Amsterdam, Whitley Bay Carnival, Mighty Dubfest, Ouseburn Festival, Mouth of the Tyne Festival, Morpeth Gathering, Sheepfolds Stables in Sunderland, Saltburn Folk Festival, Baa Fest, Bradford City of Culture HONK! Festival and beyond. Their Winter Mummers’ Ceilidh at the Star and Shadow Cinema has been a big success in 2022, 2023 and 2024. And DURHAM BRASS Streets of BRASSin 2025 saw them performing alongside the best of international streetband!
